Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Grabbit ("the App"), operated by JC, collects, uses, and protects your information. I am committed to minimal data collection and never selling your data.

1. What Data We Collect

License purchases (via Stripe): When you purchase a Pro license, Stripe processes your payment. Stripe collects your email address and payment information. I receive only your email address and the transaction result — I never see or store your credit card details.

License verification (via Supabase): Your license code and email are stored in a secure database (Supabase) to verify your Pro subscription. This includes: email address, license code, plan type, activation date, and days remaining. This data is used solely to validate your license.

App usage (local only): Grabbit stores your settings (save folder, theme, language) and download history locally on your PC in the data/ folder. This data never leaves your device unless explicitly stated.

Update checks: On startup, the App queries the GitHub API to check for updates. This request includes your IP address as part of standard HTTP communication — no additional data is sent.

2. What We Do Not Collect

• We do not track which videos you download
• We do not collect analytics or usage statistics
• We do not use advertising trackers or pixels
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties

3. Third-Party Services

Grabbit uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
• Supabase — license database (supabase.com/privacy)
• Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com/privacy)
• GitHub — app updates and downloads (docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies)

4. Data Security

License data is stored in Supabase with row-level security enabled. Only authenticated server processes can write to the database. Your email and license code are not exposed publicly.

5. Data Retention

License records are retained as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your data, contact support@appgrabbit.com and I will remove your record from the database within 7 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact: support@appgrabbit.com

7. Children's Privacy

Grabbit is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally. The most current version will always be available at appgrabbit.com/privacy.
